Stickies are not our best friend
What are ‘stickies’? Stickies are eyelashes that have become stuck together during an extension treatment 😓
It’s perfectly normal to have a few stickies come up during your work - it happens to us all!
Stickies can cause eye irritation leading to unintentional eye rubbing and excessive touching of extensions. This can shorten lash retention and can even negatively impact the natural growth of your lashes, potentially causing permanent hair loss 😣
Be sure that you spend a good 10 minutes at the end of treatment doing a stickie check to find them and separate them ✅
WHAT CAUSES STICKIES?
Incorrect use of lash adhesive and using too much adhesive.
Working in the same area where you just applied an extension.
Over brushing the lashes during application.
TYPES OF STICKIES
HOW TO PREVENT THEM
Make sure your adhesive bead is small on the eyelash extension when placing on the natural lash.
Avoid working in the same area over and over again. Rather work across the whole lash line.
Only brush after you have done a full stickie check
